I SPENT $100K+ FOR 9 MONTHS OF DEVELOPMENT ON A PROJECT THAT NEVER FINISHED…

Hi, I’m Jared Sanborn, CEO of Pure Technology. Let me tell you a quick story about why we started our development division.

We had this amazing idea for a project called “Project Phoenix.” We hired a remote development team, excited to see our vision come to life. But reality hit hard. Despite their promises, the developers lacked key skills and experience. They struggled with advanced coding techniques and essential technologies. Tasks took forever, and deadlines were a joke.

The quality of work? Terrible. Code was unreliable, performance was poor, and maintenance was a nightmare. We spent more time fixing their mistakes than making progress.

Communication was another disaster. They weren’t proactive, leading to misunderstandings and a lack of transparency.

When technical challenges arose, they couldn’t handle them. Issues were left unresolved, requiring intervention from our experienced team members. Documentation was practically non-existent, making it impossible to understand or take over tasks.

Their work ethic was inconsistent. Absenteeism and unavailability at critical times further delayed the project. Team morale plummeted – everyone was frustrated and burnt out. After nine grueling months and over $100k spent, we had to call it quits.
